Building Permit

Building Permits are required for all improvements within the City Limits.
The applicable building code used by the City is: International Building Code 2006 By Federal law, in homes built before 1978 a KDHE Licensed Renovation Firm must be used unless you are doing the work on your own home.
The cost for each permit is $25.00 made payable to the City of Burrton.

City Building Rental

Both the City Hall Auditorium and the Flickinger Building are available for rental to the public.
A $50.00 deposit is required for each building, which is refundable if the building is cleaned according to the rental agreement.
The Rental Fee should be written as a separate check to the City of Burrton.

For Burrton residents, the daily fee for the Flickinger Building is $50.00, and for the City Auditorium is $75.00.

For Non-Residents, the daily fee for the Flickinger Building is $90.00 per day, and for the City Auditorium is $115.00.
